Cimbi Needs Summer Camp

CimbiHeadOnFarm.jpg

Cheryl and I have decided that Cimbi needs to go to camp. Her incessant crying to go out on the terrace (and then relentlessly trying to jump onto the neighbor's roof once there) is second in annoyance only to her 'getting all punk rock' on the furniture when she does not get her way.

The routine all the time every day goes something like this: Cimbi stands, lays or log rolls around the terrace door screaming to go out. We let her out, thinking for some reason it will be different this time. She runs over to the short wall dividing our terrace from the neighbor's and begins scaling it. I pick her up, tell her she ruined it for herself, and take her back inside. Then she claws up the sofa.

So, Cheryl and I are looking for somewhere she can go, preferably upstate, and hang out for the rest of the summer. We like the Woodstock area, and think Lake George would be nice too. We have honestly begun looking into this idea, have a couple of leads, and are sure non-stop hilarity will ensue should this actually happen.

(Special thanks to Sarah, who is spending the summer on a farm, for unknowingly letting us use her photo.)

Cimbi's looking very anthropomorphic these days--almost a reverse sphinx.

You're really back with a vengence. How many more posts are couped up in that brain?

Creepy!
