Letters From The Pound: Stuart The Cat

PetsBehindBars_Stuart.jpgGoing off of the "Pets 'Wanted' Mug Shots" ad campaign by Animal Care and Control, Harlem Fur will be running 'Letters from the Pound,' where we print letters, verbatim, from pets behind bars. Our first letter comes from Stuart, someone who was locked up for an allergy he didn't commit.

It's about time you posted some animal pictures. There's been far too much Harlem (and pirate pictures) and not enough fur.

Ha! I knew it wouldn't be long before LOL speak ended up here. Is this letter campaign related to the ad campaign: Shelter Animals Didn't Do Anything? I love the ads. I would wear their T-Shirts to work if I could.

Lizz- I love the ads too! They were what inspired me to feature shelter pets. Although the letters from pets behind bars is not part of the official AC&C campaign, someone who works at the 110th St shelter is sending me the weekly photos and write-ups.
