Cimbi In Central Park

CimbiCentralPark0807.jpg

A few of Cimbi's fans have written in to let me know that Harlem Fur is about her and her furry friends, not whatever it has been these past few weeks. They ask how Cimbi is doing, and what she has been up to.

So, I offer this shot of Cimbi's Sunday in Central Park. In this photo, Cimbi is pouting because Cheryl and I would not let her kill any of the birds playing around us on the great lawn. You'll also see that the photo includes a mysterious absence of sky, a near constant in the Harlem Fur photography library.

Aside from trying to kill things and pouting when she was not allowed, Cimbi entertained passersby, including a friendly woman from Holland, played with a small child and refrained from biting and scratching the whole time, and stared absently into the distance as a large dog barked at her trying to get some kind of reaction.

I always understood it to be distressing for a cat to be taken from its territory, Cimbi looks happy enough here.

Your kitty looks like ours! His name is Dr. Phil. He also loves to go to the park on a leash. You can check out some photos of him on his myspace site...www.myspace.com/drphilthecat
I randomly saw your photo in a google search.
